Selection of Parameters for Accumulating Layer of Solar Walls with Transparent Insulation

One of the strategies to improve energy performance buildings may be use passive solar systems with transparent insulation. In article, a numerical model wall (SW) insulation (TI) obtained using method elementary balances is presented. On this basis, simulations behavior SW honeycomb made modified cellulose acetate were performed for 4 different climatic conditions in Europe (Stockholm, Warsaw, Paris, and Rome). For each location, calculations carried out three TI thickness values (48, 88, 128 mm), thermal diffusivity accumulating layer (AL) ranging from 4.32 × 10?7 8.43 m2/s, its 0.1 0.5 m. The purpose was select appropriate material AL conditions. following solutions proved most favorable: Stockholm: TI—thk. mm, AL—sand-lime blocks, thk. 25 cm; Warsaw: 27 Paris: 88 AL—solid ceramic brick, Rome: 48 29 cm.
